Blush is about all things embarrassing - how we get in to them, how we try to get out of them and how we end up wriggling awkwardly all around them.

Blush started life at an Imaginate Scratch event and then developed into a full length production, with the addition of a sister project Blushing during Frozen Charlotte’s residency at the International School of Brunei.

We are still fascinated by Blush and plan to develop it into a new show for children aged 9+ and their (red cheeked) friends and family.

Blushing was inspired by the pupils’ ability to share horrendous cringe-fest material with us. We worked with 5 International Baccalaureate students to devise a performance that reflected their own relationships with embarrassment and the laughs, tears and feelings of nausea that went with it.
